Back in the Studio

I started recording a new album of original folk tunes in February 2024. This is first time I’ve been back in the studio (officially) to record a full length original album since 2016! I’m working with two great people Fritz Hutchison and Al Hawkins to record and co-produce the album and will include a lot of other great artists I’ve met and been inspired by here in Kansas City.

These songs have been swimming around the fish tank for the last few years and I look forward to sharing them with listening ears. No release dates or major plans just yet. This is an intentional decision on my part to make sure I’m honoring the songs and the process, making art and beauty, instead of achieving success and doing business.

A woman sits on a piano bench holding a ukulele. She is in a room with lots of framed art on the walls, instruments cables are curled and hung on the wall, christmas lights and curtains also decorate the walls.
