REVIEW: The Greatest Garage Sale Ever
My first one woman show, The Greatest Garage Sale Ever, has opened at KC Fringe and is receiving great reviews! This one women comedy cabaret features 4 original characters with distinct looks, personalities, and quirks, who share songs and stories on stage. My first two shows have gone very well, and I am especially happy to receive a review today from Karen Staehling, from the KC Fringe website. Karen writes…
"The Greatest Garage Sale Ever" stands out at the Kansas City Fringe Festival. Danielle Anderson's creativity and talent shine through in this must-see show, making it a highlight of this reviewer's Fringe experience. Whether you're a comedy, music, or heartfelt storytelling fan, this performance offers something for everyone.”
I am glad to know the show is connecting with audiences, and am very thankful to the amazing folks who have helped get me here. The videos woven throughout the show were created by Forest Kinsey Comedy. My friend Annie Kalahurka stepped in to help with directing. My live shows are running smooth thanks to the awesome hustle and attention to detail provided by my crew member and partner, Michael Holloway, and the focus and talent of my tech person, Rachael Honnold.
KCFringe shows run from July 20th-July 27th, 2024! If you would like to come to one of the remaining shows or you have already seen the show please leave your star rating and a review! CLICK HERE!
Here’s another bit I liked from Karen’s review:
“Audience participation adds an interactive dimension to the performance, and the enthusiastic responses from the crowd showed their love for Anderson's engaging style. Her ability to connect with the audience and bring her characters to life is awe-inspiring.”
